The Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join Plum in our Athens office and lead our Internal Tools squad. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our internal web tools that enable our Operational and Development Teams to run smoothly and streamline their tasks.
In this role you will:
Lead the Internal Tools Squad at Plum, driving the development and implementation of advanced internal systems to support operational efficiency.
- Develop and communicate a bold vision for internal tools that support operational efficiency across Plum.
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our internal web tools, and act as the product owner in the agile development team, setting priorities and translating operational needs into well-defined requirements.
- Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions for challenging operational use cases.
- Optimize case management and workflow processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Manage the P&L related to internal tools development, collaborating with data, engineering, and operations teams to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Identify new opportunities for process improvement, launch experiments, and iterate on solutions to stay ahead of operational challenges.
- Develop a deep understanding of internal user behavior and needs to enhance our tools and ensure they meet the requirements of various departments.
- Drive the planning process and roadmap prioritization for your team, aligning with Plum’s overall OKRs.
- Work closely with your Group PM and other PMs to define and construct a long-term strategy for internal tools across Plum’s operations.
Ideally, you are someone who:
- Has proven experience building and managing internal tools systems, within a fast-growing fintech or financial institution.
- Has hands-on experience with case management systems, workflow automation, and operational support tools.
- Is able to work with a team of engineers, speak their language, and communicate operational needs in a constructive & timely way.
- Is fluent with data, can ground your thinking in analysis, and constantly drive actionable insights from numbers.
- Can think critically and challenge the status quo, possessing the resilience to drive improvements in our internal processes and tools.
- Is comfortable with ambiguity, a fast learner who is humble and curious, and enjoys developing yourself and those you work with.
- Has an ability to constantly learn - depth in understanding operational processes and regulatory frameworks - keeping up to date with industry trends.
