About the team

You will be joining the Marketing Systems team, embedded within the Growth and GTM function, to play a crucial role in scaling and enhancing the effectiveness of Stripe’s marketing efforts through technology. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that empower Stripe’s marketing organization to reach millions of merchants, guide their journey to Stripe’s products, and drive revenue growth. We are at the forefront of transforming marketing operations through strategic investments in automation, data, and innovative channels.

What you’ll do

In this role, you'll drive Stripe's vision of delivering the right message to the right customer at the right time through the right channel. You'll develop and execute our cross-channel engagement strategy with our go-to-market teams, identifying and addressing key friction points with user workflows, defining milestones, and coordinating roll-out plans across automated and human-assisted marketing touchpoints including email, advertising, and delivery to the Stripe Dashboard, amongst other channels.  

Responsibilities

  • You will build a deep understanding of our marketing users, synthesizing data and research to outline gaps and frictions they face.
  • You will think holistically across the end-to-end journey of a customer with Stripe, and develop a roadmap for when and how we should engage customers across different channels
  • You will work cross-functionally across teams to execute with creating a centralized marketing systems infrastructure that scales with Stripe’s growth and cohesive with the end-customer experience. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Developing and scaling a centralized orchestration framework designed to improve marketing attribution, streamline campaign deployment, and ensure consistent data quality across all marketing activities
    • Building out a robust Marketing Data Warehouse to create an end-to-end view of customer interactions
    • Identifying opportunities for business process automation
    • Strategically integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into marketing workflows
  • As a member of this team, you will collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders, engineering, data science, and sales to define the product strategy and roadmap for these critical marketing systems. You will be instrumental in driving efficiencies, improving marketing effectiveness, and ultimately contributing to Stripe’s ambitious growth targets.

Who you are

Preferred requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a product manager launching consumer or B2B products.
  • Bonus: Experience working on product-led sales and growth problems
  • An understanding of marketing and/or ad technologies and systems, such as marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), or advertising delivering systems
  • Experience working with marketing organizations at scale, understanding their processes and challenges related to campaign management, content creation, and performance measurement.
  • Experience with iterative hypothesis-driven product development and experimentation.
  • Experience working with a broad set of stakeholders and driving alignment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users.
  • Spikes in cutting through ambiguity to produce strategic insights and opportunities.
