Visa’s focus for L3 testing is to help ensure that chip terminals that have been configured for deployment by acquirers are correctly integrated into the Visa payment acceptance environment and do not unduly contribute to interoperability problems. This improves acceptance of Visa-branded products.

In this role you are expected to -

  • Manage Visa’s Chip test tool products by providing business requirements to the development teams and managing the roadmap.
  • Participate in EMVCo’s Level 3 Testing Group to define and implement a standardized framework and set of processes around EMV Level 3 terminal integration testing.
  • Provide global strategic direction to improve effectiveness of Visa’s global L3 testing and processes to executive management and ensure delivery on commitments.
  • Translate complex product business requirements into internal technical language (e.g., Tap to Phone solution, Cloud Based Acceptance solutions, Urban Mobility, etc.).
  • Lead projects for various new initiatives, both internal and external, using project managing best practices and skills.
  • Coordinate directly with clients to understand program set up requirements and facilitate new programs adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with key business partners (e.g., Account Executives, Marketing, Global Product, Pricing, Legal, SMEs, regional chip teams), will be highly reliant on strong influence management skills and the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Build and enhance positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., acquirers, processors, vendors, merchants, third-party service providers, etc.).
  • Provide L3 testing SME support to acquirers, processors, vendors, merchants, third-party service providers, etc.
  • Communicate L3 testing updates internally and externally.
  • Write and maintain L3 testing related documentation.
