We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead an organization of engineers and data scientists responsible for building products to scale the Finance team's decision science capabilities. Given Spotify’s global footprint, complexity, and volume of data - it is essential that we are able to measure the performance of our investments and to partner with the business on our financial outlook and strategy.
In this role, you will work closely with key team members in FP&A to develop advanced financial measurement capabilities. This will involve the evolution of existing user LTV predictive models to meet the demands of ROI analysis, the development of revenue attribution algorithms and logic, and the implementation of a cost allocation model, with the goal of ultimately crafting a delightful user experience to develop, forecast, and measure initiatives.
This role is based in New York (Remote Eligible), but will involve close collaboration with partner teams located in Stockholm.
What you'll do
- Serve as the Product Manager for a team of engineers and data scientists and lead balance between the engineering and business requirements
- Manage the direction and planning of internal platforms running various financial measurements and reports
- Partner with FP&A to scale their advanced financial measurement capabilities
- Educate and work with partners across the business around ROI analysis and the measurement capabilities being built

- You are comfortable working in a highly technical environment
- You are excited by the chance to create high impact with a greenfield project, and can embrace ambiguity
- You have previous experience in financial performance management and advanced ROI analysis and/or attribution problems
- You have a track record of influencing organisations and partnering efficiently with cross-functional teams
- You know how to encourage, empower, and support a team to get things done
