As a Product Manager at FeedbackFruits, you're fundamental in shaping the future of our system for learning design. Higher education institutions across the globe are looking for ways to transform the way they design their learning activities and your role is crucial in this transition.

You'll be working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and cross-functional product team to build the best teaching and learning tools out there. You'll drive the Ingredients Squad with energy and empathy, leading a talented team of 4 engineers, 1 designer, and 1 QA specialist to deliver features that create direct impact on the quality of education. Acai, the academic AI which is part of the FeedbackFruits product, is developed as part of this squad.

In your day-to-day, you own the end-to-end discovery and delivery of high-quality and engaging products within the Ingredients Squad, which focuses on the core learning process and the components teachers use to scaffold assignments for their students.

Job responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to drive the squad toward achieving its goals

  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, motivating squad members to meet delivery goals and timelines

  • Take ownership of the roadmap for the squad, aligning with product vision and strategic goals

  • Motivate and energize the team, serving as the driving force that keeps the team focused and productive

  • Sort through ambiguity, having strong opinions while remaining flexible when new information emerges

  • Make autonomous decisions that significantly impact your squad's success

  • Work closely with other squads (Systems Squad and Integration Squad) to ensure cohesive product development

Discovery of Key Opportunities

  • Prepare work for the squad through drafting & refining of product stories and epics

  • Gather user insights through interviews with learning designers and teachers

  • Analyze market trends and company goals to set roadmap direction

  • Articulate clear problem statements and define high-level solutions

  • Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to iterate towards high-quality user journeys

  • Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and strategic goals

  • Manage a broad scope of features while maintaining focus on high-impact deliverables

Delivery and Post-launch

  • Collaborate with support and go-to-market teams on release communication

  • Fine-tune stories (specifications) based on feedback during implementation

  • Monitor product performance against key metrics

  • Engage with stakeholders for post-release feedback

  • Handle unforeseen challenges promptly and efficiently

Your experience:

Scale-ups provide phenomenal learning opportunities, but sometimes it feels like you're "building the plane while flying it." You derive energy from such an environment and are comfortable with uncertainty and continuous improvement.

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B environments (B2G or B2B2C experience is particularly valuable)

  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to drive a multidisciplinary team

  • Experience as an energetic "driver" who leads squads effectively in group settings

  • Structured thinking with exceptional communication skills, particularly in smaller groups

  • Strong stakeholder management abilities (both internal and external)

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, product development lifecycles and ‘Inspired’ (Marty Cagan) philosophy of product management.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics for decision-making

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus

  • Experience working with complex products requiring strong prioritization skills
