About the team

At Stripe, product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics, partnerships, legal, risk and go-to-market teams. You’d be joining a group of experienced Product Managers who have a track record of successfully building large-scale business and products that are collectively impacting millions of users around the world.

In EMEA, the team is responsible for ensuring all of Stripe’s products across payments, revenue management, banking as a service, etc. best fit the unique needs of each country, expanding and innovating on the platform in markets throughout the region. We are looking for a Product Manager who’s passionate about solving complex payments landscape, and will help build new payment methods & flows, and also improve our payments experience (marketing, local data requirements, taxes, payout timings etc). Additionally, we need a Product Manager who empathizes with users and is driven to improve their business needs beyond payments. You’ll get to work with central engineering teams both in the region in Europe as well as across our other global offices to build delightful features that span various parts of the system, as well as working with our business, sales and operations teams to understand and solve our users’ pain points.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

  • Define the current and long term strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for products in your key markets
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure your solutions integrate seamlessly with all Stripe products
  • Work with Engineering and Product Design to build clean and easy-to-use products
  • Be accountable for users, partners, regulators, and Stripe’s business performance in the region by collaborating with many stakeholder and partner teams across the company
  • Be an evangelist for your product movement across the company

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements 

  • 8+ years of experience in a product role
  • Experience in the payments industry or other fintech domains
  • Built products by collaborating across engineering, analytics, marketing, design and other key stakeholders
  • Approached product management from a user’s vantage point and is motivated by the chance to improve the lives of customers
  • Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating customer challenges
  • The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior payments experience in EMEA
  • Management or oversight of other PMs and/or multiple engineering teams, all contributing to shipping a larger body of product work
  • Strategic vision of where the EMEA region is heading, and where technology and financial services fit into that puzzle
