Who we are

Remote work is one of the great equalizers of our time, allowing people to secure employment opportunities from companies around the world, no matter where they were born or where they live. Omnipresent does just that.

We are a customer-focused global employment services partner that can help companies grow their teams in more than 155 countries and territories around the world. How do we do that? Well, through our SaaS platform, OmniPlatform. We help companies (big or small) deal with the complexities involved with hiring global teams remotely, by managing employee onboarding through to offboarding, including legal and compliance, payroll, expenses, and health and benefits.

We also practice what we preach! We are a fully remote company which means we have no head office. Our team of more than 400 people is located in more than 50 countries and territories around the world. This means you can work from anywhere. We provide benefits and support in any global location just as we would for our clients and their remote teams. Our company has a flat structure which means accountability and taking initiative towards your everyday tasks that help further our ambitious company goals.

At a time when remote work is exploding, we’re growing our team to help make global remote work a reality for people everywhere.

The Team

The Knowledge Team at Omnipresent is part of the Core Product Team, reporting to the VP of Product at Omnipresent. We are a central pillar of value delivery, enabling our clients with peace of mind on the services and products we offer. One of our core responsibilities is the development of new products that will become the future of Omnipresent, we seek to understand and document the knowledge needed to run a particular product, and we do this by getting our hands dirty and setting up new products.

The Knowledge Team is in charge, among other things, for bringing the new products to life, taking care of the 0 to 1. This includes setting a business model, conducting market research and user interviews, product management and collaboration with subject matter experts - from payroll and HR Ops to finance and benefits.

What will you do?

This role reports to the Head of Product - Knowledge Team.

  • Add value to customers and internal teams by defining, gathering and serving critical knowledge. Specifically on new products like PEO, Virtual Employer and additional products you’ll build.
  • You’ll lead a cross-functional task force across Payroll, legal, HROps, operations, support, sales, engineering and design - to build an amazing end to end product experience for our users.
  • You’ll work on operational processes to understand how the product is served such that you can create playbooks that will scale. We build for scale, but we want product people to see the product across the phases - from the pilot phase to the full product offering. Here your understanding of the internal workings of the product will be key.
  • Conduct industry research, competitive research, and gather customer insights and feedback.
  • Work with your colleagues in product, in services and subject matter experts on work that includes but is not limited to company registration, payroll processing, benefit administration, legal guides, reporting for our clients and working with local partners.
  • Create the roadmap of the new product through in-depth research and understanding of customer pain points while ensuring that business goals are met.
  • Be ready to work on operational minutiae, as well as create pilots to test out the offering, with a focus on what scales and what doesn’t.
  • Bring your product to market through ownership of the full product lifecycle: problem identification, solution design, spec, implementation and validation, and measuring success via actionable metrics being set, as well as figuring out next iterations based on feedback.
  • Be able to get into the weeds with the SMEs, but distill the information for the Senior Leadership to keep them abreast of.
  • Manage competing priorities consistently and transparently, keeping stakeholders read in on these tradeoffs.

What are you great at?

  • Working cross-functionally on complex areas with competing priorities.
  • Product and Project managing. You will be quarterbacking large initiatives with many moving pieces and you have the ability to go into the weeds to ensure things are working as they should, but also step back and review the overall picture to ensure we’re creating the right product and experience for our customers while generating business value.
  • Working through ambiguity to create actionable outcomes.
  • Finding simple solutions for complex problems.
  • Great attention to details.
  • Working in fast paced environment.
  • Interacting with external and internal stakeholders at all levels and functions, including comfortable presenting to senior leaders like the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

You're the kind of person who...

  • 5-7 years of experience, with 4 years of experience within Product in startups (ideally in the LegalTech or HR Tech, Logistics Tech, i.e. a company with a big operations/ real world component).
  • Is passionate about building solutions from the ground up, and the centrality of knowledge to an org.
  • Is a first principles thinker, and asks why on existing processes, doesn’t just take things on face value.
  • Strong self-starter attitude and are eager to learn that which you do not know.
  • Strong communication skills as well as stakeholder management.
  • Wants to lead projects and where they find a gap, they evaluate it and then fill in if that’s what’s needed to provide value.

What would make you really stand out?

  • Previous experience in global payroll
  • Previous experience managing complex real-world services (mix of operations and digital product)
  • Previous experience in early-stage startups (0 to 1)

What's in it for you?

  • Shared ownership: Being a part of our journey means you'll own a piece of Omnipresent.
  • Annual vacation entitlement: We have a flexible leave policy - you may take as much holiday as you like, so long as it is agreed with your manager.  As a guidance, we expect people to take at least 33 days per year, including public holidays (or your region's minimum, if greater).
  • Flexible working: Work from anywhere in the world! We don’t care where or when you work, as long as the job gets done. We are genuinely as flexible as the work allows.
  • Development: Training, coaching, and an environment that promotes career ambition and progression.
  • Work environment: We are fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you live in a flexible manner.
  • Parental leave: For employees that have been with us for 12 months by their due date, we offer 6 months of fully paid parental leave for the primary caregiver, followed by statutory for your region.  Secondary caregivers that have been with us for 12 months are entitled to 8 weeks fully paid parental leave.
  • Wellbeing: Mental health and wellbeing support and services through Plumm
  • Home office setup: It should go without saying that we will provide you with the equipment you need to work from home in the same way you would if you were in an office. We will provide you with the home office equipment you need to enable you to work effectively wherever you are, including covering internet costs.
  • Education: We believe in helping you maximise your potential to deliver maximum impact. Get access to books, courses, mentors and learning plans to help you be your best and do your best!
  • Additional benefits: we offer additional benefits that vary from region to region, such as medical, life insurance, pension/retirement funds and more - please ask your Talent Partner when you speak with us!

We believe remote working is a great equalizer and we practice what we preach. Inclusivity is fundamental to our mission and we are committed to conscious inclusion. We believe in the potential of everyone; regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
