Job Description

Cybersource, a Visa company, has become a technology and commercial platform foundation for Visa Acceptance solutions and is a world leader in digital payment processing, risk management and payment security.

Product Managers are the architects of Cybersource product offerings and the key drivers of product line success and adoption by the clients and partners. They drive the vision & strategy of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization. Visa is launching innovative new products in the payment space, leveraging this digital payment technology platform. We partner with merchant acquirers as well as Enterprise, Small and Mid-Market Businesses around the globe to provide integrated payment acceptance solutions in all industry verticals.

This role is specifically focused on digital acceptance products for digital channels (e.g. ecommerce payments, mobile payments, etc). Our mission is to empower sellers, software vendors and developers globally to strive in digital commerce by:

  • Enabling digital payment acceptance with industry leading security in all deployment contexts: Web, Mobile, call center, IoT, and all digital checkout experience happening even in stores, restaurants etc
  • Making it easier for them to accept digital payments and deploy faster
  • Optimizing conversion in all channels for improved sellers (e.g. merchants) top and bottom line

Our digital acceptance product suite is composed of several secure integration methods and online acceptance applications. This position is a key role within the digital acceptance product team responsible for supporting the product lifecycle for the Secure Integration methods product suite. This scope includes software development and commercial responsibilities for our secure integration methods, including drop-in UIs, hosted fields integration, mobile SDKs, digital wallets (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay) as well as various key Visa acceptance products and technology assets like Visa Click to Pay. Payment data capture and processing needs to occur in the most secure way for our clients and partners in all deployment contexts.

Key responsibilities:

  • This role of Product Manager will be a key member of the secure integration method team and assist in managing the day-to-day data related activities, identify enhancements to these products, and develop new offerings
  • Help drive product global growth, adoption and maximize retention in all channels, direct and indirect (e.g. via resellers and partners)
  • Manage products through the full product lifecycle from concept to end of life and through key commercialization phases: Pilot, Beta, Generally Available, End of Life.
  • Evaluate and analyze internal & external data source to identity potential product enhancement opportunities
  • Develop and write detailed product requirements for key enhancements to the system
  • Lead and manage software development activities working as “one mission team” with your software development partners, including participation in daily scrum meetings, planning, grooming and demo to sign off on all deliverables to ensure high quality
  • Assist in the develop, maintenance of the product roadmap in support of the product vision
  • Pro-actively seek data and input, and review product feedback and bugs raised by customers and internal teams, triage and prioritize as appropriate within the roadmap
  • Engage and work closely with UX design & research partners striving to develop a industry leading user experience
  • Evangelize and demonstrate products to internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent secure integration methods as a subject matter expert
  • Engage with prospects, clients and partners in support of global regions and commercialization activities, keeping an “outside in” perspective at all times
  • Monitor product performance, enhance KPI dashboards, derive intelligence to ensure data driven decision making
  • Provide education and training to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of sales enablement assets for all internal and reseller partner sales teams in partnership with marketing

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Product Management experience with a track record of bringing product to market
- Knowledge / Experience with web Applications, APIs, Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Digital Payments, Ecommerce, and Payments ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation necessary
- Experience developing and articulating product requirements
- Experience contributing and creating product documentation
- Ability to communicate levels with both business and technology stakeholders and leaders
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, motivate others, influence, and build consensus, within teams and with Sr leadership
- Problem solver – Ability to breakdown complex problems into manageable components
- Creative spark – in product innovation, product management, and finding ways to get things done
- Applied skills in personal organization and ability to manage a complex set of priorities
- Team player, with proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities and deliverables
