How you can help make a better world of work

Culture Amp is looking for a Product Manager to define and lead the development of our internal Data Platform. The Data Platform supports analysts, data scientists, product managers, and more throughout Culture Amp’s business to leverage our data in their day to day work.

With this role you will be responsible for:

  • Take ownership of the strategic direction for our data platform components: from ETL and Business Intelligence all the way to Data Governance and Data Science
  • Pursuing a deep understanding of organisational goals and empathy of data consumer roles to ensure solutions meet the needs of end users and stakeholders
  • Continually evaluating data platform’s impact, scalability and user experience towards self-service to save time for users and to reduce support load
  • Identifying and effectively prioritising opportunities to unlock new downstream capabilities and use cases through rich and trustworthy data
  • Striking the balance between investments in customer experiences and technical vision
  • Identifying the key measures that drive the platform experience by applying an analytical mindset to uncovering opportunities to improve business outcomes
  • Collaborating with those across Product Group and around the business to influence change and bring ideas to life
  • Working alongside technical experts  to identify and unblock the key technical constraints holding back the platform experience

You’ll be working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, but given the remit, will also be required to provide thought leadership across many teams to align on a single data strategy for the business.

What You Bring to Our Camp

  • Experience in Platform product management with both external and internal focus: having direct customer impact and enabling roadmaps of other teams
  • An affinity for more technical product challenges and you enjoy balancing end user value with long term platform scalability
  • Problem solver with a curious mindset that drives you to ask and answer the ‘why’
  • Research skills. Systematically collect qualitative and quantitative inputs, draw on sharp analytical skills, intuition and empathy to find non-obvious patterns, and distill it all into actionable insights.
  • Communication and influencing. Engage and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared understanding and vision.
  • You are deeply curious and passionate about people and culture. At heart, you're what we call a people geek!

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalised folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Non average workplaces attract above average people.

We consider ourselves anything but average and strive to make a home for different types of people from around the world to do their best work and have fun doing it. So we have created 4 “not your average” values that we live by, take a read, and if this sounds like the environment for you, please apply!

We are extremely proud of the Culture we have built, but don't just take our word for it, our Glassdoor reviews speak for themselves!

We are committed to not only making a better world of work, but also a better world. So we are proud to be recognised as a certified B-Corp.

We believe that inclusive businesses are better, not just for “company results”, but for the world. We have a strong commitment to Anti-Racism, and endeavour to lead by example. Every step we make as a business towards anti-racism is another step we can support our customers in making a better world (of work). You can see our current commitments to Anti-Racism here.

We ensure you have the tools you need to thrive both in and out of work.

  • MacBooks for you to do your best work
  • Share Options - it’s important to us that everyone is an owner and can share in our success
  • Excellent parental leave and in work support programme, - for those families to be
  • Flexible working schedule - where we can, let’s make work, work for you
  • Fun and inclusive digital, and (in the future) in-person events

Most importantly. An opportunity to really make a difference in people’s lives.
