Product Manager, Corporate Technology

The Corporate Technology organization provides the internal tools and services to keep Stripes efficient and productive. We manage Stripe laptops, company-wide SaaS productivity tools, audio/visual technology, helpdesk support, corporate networking, systems infrastructure, and custom software development solutions. Our products are used by every Stripe, everywhere. 

Sitting within CorpTech’s Program Management team, this Product Manager opportunity is a first-of-its-kind role for our org. In partnership with CorpTech leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to initially shape and continuously evolve the scope of Product Management in our org. 

Your immediate focus will be to serve as the Product Manager for our Collaboration team. The team designs and builds custom integrations to third-party software and creates seamless workflows across these tools to unleash their full potential to the rest of Stripe. The team helps Stripes work smarter, find information and share knowledge, get to know each other, and request and receive help from one another. Many of the solutions come together in our custom-built intranet, Stripe Home (https://stripe.com/blog/stripe-home). The team is small and nimble, and works across a wide stack: on any given day, we discuss user interface design, data models, API design, infrastructure maintenance, or all of the above. We’re excited to innovate in a space that traditionally isn’t thought of in the forefront of innovation.

Our ideal candidate has built products in this space before, is obsessed with solving for user needs, has an extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, has great business and analytical skills, and is excited about beautiful product UX used by internal stakeholders.

You will: 

• Deeply understand our users’ needs by immersing yourself in their day-to-day work, gaining an appreciation for what they do and what they need
• Create user personas to define and segment our customer base
• Define the product strategy and roadmap for our Collaboration products
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering and design teams to translate users’ needs into functional specifications and mockups 
• Own the product execution and status update communications, including some program and project management responsibilities 
• Effectively set timelines and manage cross-functional project teams to deadlines through the proactive management of blockers, scope, shifting priorities, and risks
• Partner with CorpTech leadership to evolve and scale the Product Management function in our org

• Demonstrated aptitude for digging deep into the data and making data-based decisions
