WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We seek an experienced Product Manager to join our growing product team. Product Managers at Braze build the product roadmap for a given product area and work closely with engineers and product designers to bring new products to life.

This Product Manager will support the Core Messaging Team. The Core Messaging Team is responsible for designing and maintaining the essential Braze backend technologies to orchestrate and send messages. The Core Messaging team owns the critical workflows for marketers to send and users to receive messages with Braze reliably at scale.

Braze operates at a massive scale, collecting hundreds of billions of data points each month and sending billions of messages to end-users daily. A successful candidate will be curious, strategic, organized, data-driven, creative, and customer-focused.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and stakeholders across the business to scope effective solutions, build, prioritize, and execute the Core Messaging roadmap
  • Setup qualitative and quantitative feedback loops to dive into our customers’ problems and build proposals to address them creatively
  • Deeply understand Braze’s technology ecosystem and work across Product teams to build performant, cost-effective, scalable solutions
  • Establish and manage internal and external stakeholder expectations, and communicate progress and decisions effectively
  • Run point on launching features and functionality released by the team
  • Lead the Core Messaging team’s quarterly OKR and annual planning processes
  • Prioritize the most important next steps for our product by analyzing inputs from a wide variety of sources (user feedback, research, usage data, support requests, etc)

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills
  • Strong technical experience. You understand how distributed systems work, have working knowledge of core technologies used and performance optimization, are familiar with SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, and as a bonus perhaps have experience developing as well
  • A proactive, positive, can-do attitude. You consistently drive projects to successful completion and proactively seek opportunities to enhance both processes and products.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team and balance multiple strategic and tactical projects at once
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Bonus:
    • Experience working at a B2B SaaS company
    • Experience at a high-scale technology startup (we operate at the scale of billions of users)
