About the Team

The Bank reconciliation Product Team is called Artemis. Their team mission "We are proud custodians of Bank Rec Main's client side." Serving hundreds of thousands of customers daily reconciling multiple millions of transactions - Bank Reconciliations main client side is vital to our organizational health and ongoing success as a company. This role is to cover maternity leave during a period of significant planned technical uplift, managing the releasing of complex software and using data to inform the focus and direction of the team.

About the Role
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for driving customer and business value through ownership of new and existing products. You will manage products end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by key commercial and customer success metrics. You will be comfortable working autonomously where appropriate, with the support of your product leadership team.

This is a 6 months fixed term contract covering a parental leave.

How you'll make an impact
- Understand customer problems and be the champion of the ‘what’ and the ‘why’. Delivering value through executing an existing product roadmap that realises Xero’s vision and objectives and ensures the success of the product. 
- Bridge technical, commercial and customer experience worlds as you build strong and productive relationships with stakeholders to deliver on market needs and priorities, and evangelise the product vision.
 - Work with product marketing, data and research teams to drive feature penetration and undertake competitive research to uncover customer needs and new product value propositions in line with the payments team’s vision. 
- Work closely with engineering to deliver quality software with amazing user experiences that solve real customer problems.
- Help cultivate a fun, rewarding, innovative and results-driven culture that lives and breathes  Xero values.


What you'll bring with you
- 3+ yrs Previous experience as a Product Owner/ Sr BA and demonstrable experience collaborating with a diverse stakeholder group to realize commercial outcomes.
- Previous experience in leading people and forming high-performing teams
- financial services experience favorable
- A solid track record of addressing customer needs through innovative use of technology
- Proven ability to influence outcomes at all levels in a variety of contexts
- Extensive experience working with software development projects at scale
- Ability to influence outcomes at all levels in a variety of contexts
