Product Manager, Balance Platform Customer Area

The Balance Platform Customer Area is the customer facing application that serves Adyen’s platforms and financial services customers. Whether they use Adyen for Platforms, Issuing or Capital, we want to make sure that we empower our users to manage their platform by providing them with an intuitive and easy to understand user interface. Our mission is to put our users at the heart of every feature that we deliver by maintaining a strong focus on user experience, usability and understandability. Our focus is having a clear understanding of their needs and making sure they have all necessary information and tools to manage their projects or daily operations in a scalable way.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product manager to help drive the strategy and vision for the Balance Platform Customer Area and ensure we offer the best in class solution. In your role, you will work closely with product managers, product designers, engineers, UX researchers and data analytics in order to ensure we build the right features to delight our customers.

What you’ll do 

  • Engage with our users to identify and understand their needs and translate them into actionable user stories. Identify new opportunities and improvements that will increase user experience and usability
  • Conduct trainings with external as well as internal users and collect their feedback
  • Work closely with the product lead to help shape the product roadmap and priorities
  • Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure the requirements and dependencies are clearly understood
  • Facilitate cross stream collaboration by being the central point of contact for all UI related functionalities
  • Communicate with all stakeholders in order to maintain full alignment, transparency and visibility into our roadmap and upcoming features
  • Analyse user behavior data, determine patterns and establish metrics in order to make data driven decisions to enhance user experience

Who you are 

  • You have previous experience working in a product role in the tech industry
  • You thrive working autonomously in a fast-paced dynamic environment where requirements are not always clear
  • You are able to translate user needs and feedback into user stories with clear requirements
  • You can make critical decisions and are not afraid of saying “no” when necessary
  • You are passionate about user experience and take pride in being the users’ advocate
  • You have excellent communication skills and can facilitate a cross team collaboration and alignment
  • You are curious how things work “under the hood” and eager to learn
