At Spotify Advertising, our part of that mission is to build the next generation advertising platform for audio which can scale the freemium experience for hundreds of millions of fans and tens of thousands of advertisers. This scale brings unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities to define the insights product for our business.

Spotify transformed music forever when we launched in 2008. Now, Spotify Advertising is on a mission to transform the way advertisers engage music and podcast listeners.

Spotify is a global community of over 250 million music fans, artists, and podcasters. It's always been our mission to make audio more accessible for everyone, and create innovative ways for creators and fans to connect with each other.
At Spotify, we’ve set a new standard in advertising by developing technology that drives results for advertisers, revenue for creators, and entertains our listeners. Through Spotify’s growing billion dollar ads business and ongoing investment in content creators — we are building the world’s largest audio advertising platform, connecting a new generation of creators with sustainable revenue.

Over half of Spotify’s advertising business relies on listener audiences. As the Product Manager, Audiences you will own the next generation of audience products for Spotify’s $1B+ advertising business. You will drive a forward-thinking, privacy-centric product strategy and roadmap that serves enterprise and self-serve advertisers and affects over 400 million Spotify listeners worldwide.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver best-in-class, privacy-first audience discovery, targeting and insights products for agencies, managed and self-serve advertisers.
  • Drive Spotify’s Audiences roadmap by identifying meaningful, quantifiable audience product opportunities that align with organizational objectives.
  • You’ll partner with sales, research, data science and engineering alike to make data-informed prioritization decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally as the subject matter expert (SME) for Spotify’s first, second and third party data offerings across music and podcasts.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years driving product vision, strategy and design in a product management role
  • Experienced leading each stage of the product lifecycle cross-functionally
  • Experienced with enterprise products and platform-level thinking, as well as comfortable working in a start-up environment
  • Familiarity with advertising technology
  • Data-driven decision-maker, forward-thinking, strategic and results-driven
  • A curious, creative and critical thinker who values learning and is comfortable working outside your comfort zone
  • A strong communicator and collaborator who seeks to create understanding and alignment, not necessarily consensus

Where You'll Be:

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours
  • Prefer an office to work from home instead? Not a problem! We have plenty of options for your working preferences. Find more information about our Work From Anywhere options here.
