We are looking for an experienced ad-tech or mar-tech Product Manager to join us in the Music Mission - Spotify’s division dedicated to helping artists thrive by providing the most valuable tools to create music, build an audience, monetize their fans, and ultimately live off their work.

Our artist marketing tools play an essential role in artist development by enabling artists to reach new listeners and grow their audience on Spotify. In this role, you’ll set the vision and roadmap for our artist audience platform, defining enabling capabilities to better manage Spotify’s data and make it usable to power artist campaigns.

You will work with a cross-functional team of Engineers and Data Scientists to define the roadmap for our artist audience data infrastructure & targeting capabilities, building the data engine that powers our native marketing tools suite. You’ll combine a deep understanding of our users, our native marketing product offering, and our future vision to build a roadmap of audience management capabilities that will enable us to unlock new customer-facing features more quickly. You will serve as a skilled translator between business needs and tech investments, ensuring the platform iteratively unlocks business value.

What you'll do

  • Paint a vision for how the audience platform will power our business over time, accompanied with a roadmap for audience data capabilities that shows how we’ll get there
  • Prioritize and manage tradeoffs between internal customer needs, business goals, development costs & technical debt
  • Work closely with other marketing tools PMs to understand their feature roadmaps and prioritize capabilities that will unlock the most end customer and business value
  • Act as a skill translator to identify how customer-facing features manifest as platform capabilities
  • Define business KPIs & success metrics that measure the contributions of the platform & inform investment levels for new capabilities
  • Demonstrate and help instill platform thinking and user-focused development practices across our teams
  • Partner with development teams to deliver with speed and quality.

Who you are

  • You have 3+ years working as a Product Manager working in cross-functional teams that have shipped platform or enabling products in the marketing technology space
  • Have a deep understanding and track record of building audience data management products
  • You love getting into the weeds and finding ways to simplify sophisticated systems or break down complex problems into component parts
  • A skilled platform thinker, excited by solving problems for internal customers in ways that unlock exponential end customer value
  • An outstanding communicator, comfortable with both writing and presenting technical concepts in user-friendly ways to get your ideas heard and build consensus among a wide array of collaborators
  • Can manage multiple projects extending across many teams, communicate & stick to realistic deadlines, and push back when needed.
  • Skilled at managing trade-offs between competing priorities and requests from internal teams.
  • All about execution. You have a proven ability to define, deliver, and quickly iterate without much direct supervision.
