We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Music Mission team who owns Spotify’s end to end proposition for music creators and the experiences they create for fans.
Spotify for Artists is used by more than 1M active artists and offers a suite of music native marketing tools, including Marquee and Showcase. In this role, you will enable as many artists as possible to access and purchase our tools.
From prototyping to development to commercialization, you’ll work with a cross-functional team from Design, Engineering, and Product Insights to define product strategy and ship impact. This team focuses on expanding to new customer types like international buyers, ensuring that customers have the necessary payment capabilities to purchase our tools, and mitigating fraudulent activity to ensure that we’re able to collect revenue and protect the business. To complete this remit, you will also collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Legal.
What You'll Do
- Set the vision and manage the roadmap for growing access to music native marketing tools, ensuring customers have the necessary payment capabilities to purchase them, and mitigating fraudulent activity
- Build alignment against your roadmap and gain support from relevant cross-functional teams to deliver impact
- Prioritize new features based on customer needs, business potential, and technical platform scalability
- Set and follow metrics that advise us of the success of the products and their impact on the Spotify ecosystem and users
- Partner with PMs, design, insights, and engineering teams on the design, implementation, delivery and adoption of features
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience working as a product manager or similar discipline (i.e. business analytics, product insights) in cross-functional teams
- You have experience collaborating with a wide range of non-product partners in a matrixed organization, and understand how to influence and inspire teams
- You’re a compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types
- You ideally have worked on a B2B or B2C product, bonus for experience in payments tech and/or ad tech
- You’re passionate about the opportunity to better serve artists & their teams
- You have a team-first approach and have developed techniques to ensure your teams are happy, motivated and productive
- You are comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple offices and time zones

- This role requires someone in a location that is within a reasonable commuting distance to our New York office
- Working hours? We operate within the EST zone for collaboration
The United States base range for this position is $118,598 - $169,426 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
