JOB DUTIES:
PROVIDE DESIGN DIRECTION AND DEVELOP DESIGN FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS ON BOTH IOS AND ANDROID OPERATING SYSTEMS. COLLABORATE DIRECTLY WITH PRODUCT MANAGERS AND ENGINEERS AND WORK EFFECTIVELY WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERS AND TEAMS ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION TO PERFECT DESIGN FOR MOBILE PRODUCTS. CONTRIBUTE TO MOBILE DESIGN SYSTEM APPLYING EXCELLENT VISUAL DESIGN SKILLS AND A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF PRODUCTS ANALYTICS. SERVE AS AN ADVOCATE FOR ATLASSIAN’S MOBILE USERS AND UNCOVER MOBILE-SPECIFIC OPPORTUNITIES. APPLY WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BOTH ANDROID AND IOS BEST PRACTICES TO DEVELOP DESIGN FOR MOBILE PRODUCTS. DEMONSTRATE AN ABILITY TO BALANCE VISION WITH ITERATION, MAKE TRADEOFFS, AND GET THE RIGHT USER EXPERIENCE TO MARKET. CONDUCT AND APPLY CUSTOMER RESEARCH, INCLUDING DESIGN THINKING, PROTOTYPING, AND CONCEPTUAL MODELING. PRESENT TO AND TRANSLATE TECHNICAL CONTENT TO NON-TECHNICAL AUDIENCE.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, PRODUCT DESIGN/INNOVATION OR A RELATED FIELD PLUS THREE (3) YEARS OF MOBILE PRODUCT DESIGN EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE CONDUCTING AND APPLYING CUSTOMER RESEARCH IN DESIGN THINKING, PROTOTYPING, AND CONCEPTUAL MODELING; AND EXPERIENCE APPLYING BOTH ANDROID AND IOS DESIGN BEST PRACTICES.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:
MASTER’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, PRODUCT DESIGN/INNOVATION OR A RELATED FIELD PLUS TWO (2) YEARS OF MOBILE PRODUCT DESIGN EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE CONDUCTING AND APPLYING CUSTOMER RESEARCH IN DESIGN THINKING, PROTOTYPING, AND CONCEPTUAL MODELING; AND EXPERIENCE APPLYING BOTH ANDROID AND IOS DESIGN BEST PRACTICES.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
