As a Product Designer on the Supply Chain and Care Team at Alto Pharmacy, you will help research, prototype, and design experiences for our patients, pharmacists, and operations associates. This role is responsible for digital and physical experiences across mobile, web, and our pharmacies. You will collaborate with other designers, product managers, engineers, and operations associates that span multiple roles.    

Responsibilities

  • Research, build context, and develop perspectives on opportunity spaces
  • Observe and map out patient and operations workflows
  • Assist the team in identifying new opportunities
  • Think at a systems level beyond individual features
  • Collaborate with product partners, engineers, and operations on experience requirements
  • Proactively communicate progress and timelines to stakeholders
  • Explore and visually communicate potential directions for product solutions
  • Prototype and test designs with external and internal audiences 
  • Create detailed visual designs and interactions while utilizing and contributing to our design system
  • Support and shepherd designs from documentation through implementation

A Bit About You

  • Have 4+ years of product design experience with user experience and visual design
  • Have experience working on either complex enterprise software or consumer software; working across multiple platforms including web, Android, and iOS
  • Have a portfolio showcasing your process to understand, ideate, and visualize solutions to complex problems
  • Take a systematic approach to designing for consumer-facing and enterprise digital products
  • Knowledgeable about interaction and visual design standard and details
  • Preferred - Have a BFA or MFA in interaction, ux, visual, graphic design, or related fields
  • Bonus - Have experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries
  • Bonus - Service design background or experience designing for experiences in physical spaces
  • Bonus - Have experience working on complex internal tools that span multiple mediums and user types

Additional Physical Job Requirements:

  • Read English, comprehend, and follow simple oral and written instructions.  The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.  Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.  Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Salary Range: $136,000 - $190,000

*Please note this range is specific to employees working in Colorado. Salary ranges for remote candidates working outside of Colorado can be subject to regionalized compensation based on their respective work location.

Travel: No.
