What We’re Looking For:

The Robin Design team is hiring a Product Designer who will own the design for a feature or product line. As a product designer at Robin, you help lead new initiatives and be involved in all aspects of the product development process. Our team has a shared goal to build user-centric product solutions that are intuitive and delightful. You are an advocate for the customer and translate problems into solutions alongside Engineers and Product Managers. If this sounds as exciting to you as it does to us, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Collaborate daily and work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience
Design and ship high quality features and workflows that are simple and intuitive
Facilitate design exercises to help define problems alongside product managers, designers and engineers
Identify high-impact opportunities for your product area, design features in pursuit of business goals, and clearly communicate decision rationale.
Participate in regular design reviews where you will seek specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback

What We Look For In You:

Worked at a software or SaaS company before
Have 3+ of experience in a product design role
Think in systems to build a cohesive experience across the platform
Are able to distill complex problems that help shape work to be done
Are skilled in clearly explaining your work and design decisions to designers, product managers and engineers
Care about UI details as much as you do UX flows
Obsess over understanding customer problems
Comfortable sharing work early

It’s an Added Bonus If You:

Have front end development skills such as HTML, CSS, JS (or React).
Have Interest in building and maintaining design systems
Have experience with a wide variety of techniques to validate designs within internal and external methods.
