Practice helps service providers do more, faster. Our software is ambitious in its scope - we're building a customizable, modern CRM workflow that integrates and automates payments, scheduling, forms, notes, real-time messaging, and more.

We want working on Practice to be a very high leverage way to do good in the world. Our product group today is made up of about 10 strong and experienced designers and developers, spread around the world, all working remotely.

The product team is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help us define the future of our experience and digital product. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing engaging and intuitive user experiences for our new and existing customers.

In your first 6 months at Practice, you will:

  • Work on a vast spectrum of initiatives with a cross-functional team
  • Conceptualize, design, prototype, and conduct user testing. Iterate based on feedback to create simple, impactful experiences
  • Take ownership on initiatives; make it a priority to understand user problems and the impact of your design decision
  • Conduct user research and deep engagement with our users
  • Design user journey to ensure an experience in line with our mission and values

You have:

  • Enough experience to have made many mistakes as a product designer
  • A few stories that highlight both your UX and product experience
  • Ability to identify and frame problems and opportunities from a user-centric perspective, leaning on data & research
  • Ability to articulate the thinking and strategy behind your work and why you’ve made certain decisions
  • Understand the complexity and trade-offs of your design and prioritization
  • Highly organized and process-oriented; you recognize the strategic value of collaborative thinking design
  • Understand how and when iteration is necessary to improve a conversion metric
  • Last but not least, you enjoy the hustle of a startup

Other important details:

  • We have a very international team, and we actively seek to increase our diversity. We welcome applications from all candidates regardless of their gender, abilities, cultural or ethnic origin and background
  • We work remotely. You can be located anywhere
  • You will have a lot of leash. Great collaborators can largely set their own hours and get things done their own way. We want you to own part of the platform
  • As an early employee with a team of repeat founders, you will have a front-row seat to watch how it can be done. Our team is outstanding, and over the next few years you will have the opportunity to level yourself up multiple times
  • Design and usability are strategically important to us. Feedback should motivate and inspire you
  • We're intensely product-focused. We hope that what we make is beautiful, but we're not building software for the sake of beautiful software. We're building a system that will improve the lives of millions of people.
