You will work 1:1 with a Product Manager and be embedded in either our Pipeline Authoring group or Pipeline Insights group as a Product Designer or Senior Product Designer at GitLab.
The goal of the Pipeline Insights team is to provide automated testing integration into the GitLab CI workflow so that users can more easily utilize unit tests, code coverage, accessibility testing, and performance testing.
You'll design experiences that surface actionable insights from these tests to all members of a software development team from developers and testers to team leads and VPs.
The Pipeline Authoring team is responsible for the essential step of pipeline defintion in our Continuous Integration offering. You'll be working towards the goal of making the pipeline authoring experience as easy as possible for both novice and advanced users alike. Your work will enable "Operations for All" by reducing friction for authoring, linting, and building .gitlab-ci.yml files.
The culture at GitLab is something we're incredibly proud of. You'll spend your time collaborating with kind, talented, and motivated colleagues from across the world.
Some of the benefits you'll be entitled to vary by the region or country you're in. However, all GitLab team members are fully remote and receive a flexible paid-time-off policy, where we don't count the number of days you take off annually.
You can work incredibly flexible hours, enabled by our asynchronous approach to communication. We'll also help you set up your home office environment, pay for your membership to a co-working space, and, every year or so, we'll invite you to our Contribute event.
The hiring process for this Product Designer position typically follows five stages. The details of this process can be found at the bottom of our job family page. Our compensation calculator will be shared with candidates selected for a screening call.
