We’ve built our own app and web product and are automating accounting, tax, company formation, and other tasks. We are looking for Senior Product Designers who care deeply about their customers and distilling complex problems into thoughtful, beautiful, holistic experiences. We're looking for those who naturally do their best work when collaborating with engineering, product, research, data, and marketing. Together with the help of research and contend design, they own a part of Osome, ship solutions to challenging problems and get feedback directly from customers. We've had a customer-focused approach from the very beginning of the company. This has made UX a core foundation of our company's DNA.
What you'll do:
- Work through design problems from beginning to end, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts that form disruptive new products and features, and designing the detailed workflows and interactions required to make them a reality.
- Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce data-informed solutions that consider problems from multiple angles.
- Be autonomous. You'll drive progress through obstacles by building consensus and making decisions – taking ownership for every last detail, every step of the way.
- Use human-centred design methodologies and practices to elevate the customer centricity in your team and stakeholders around you (e.g. conduct workshops, brainstorming sessions, etc.)
- Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly assess their viability and design the fine-grained details of components, interactions, and transitions.
- Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps.
- Work closely with engineers as you build, iterate on, and ship ideas.
Requirements
Who you are:
- Extensive experience designing digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped ship products that solve real problems and that people use.
- An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem-solving and system modelling to detailed UI, visual, and interaction design.
- Great eye and passion for details in design execution and implementation.
- Strong communication skills to help people across the company understand your proposals' rationale and the complex nuances of design problems.
- Have experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in iterative product development cycles. You can deeply collaborate with other disciplines, including product management, engineering, research, and analytics.
- Strategic and purposeful in making design decisions, and you do that by integrating user, business and technical considerations into your design process. You can identify when to optimize for speed and when to seek quality and hone into the details.
- English skills in written and oral communication.
- Bonus: Experience working in fintech or other SaaS products for SMEs.
