Product Designer (Multiple Mid/Senior Roles)

We are looking for a talented product designer to join the Zeller Product team. Our product includes everything that happens on a payment terminal as well as an extensive customer portal providing our customers with access to various tools to manage their business money.

This person will be a hands-on product designer, with a solid process and case examples which demonstrates ways they have innovated customer-centred designed experiences. Their passion for using design to understand and help people will drive this person to create great things, and to apply that passion to Zeller.

- A proven track record of project delivery and a willingness to get your ‘hands dirty’ to achieve your outcomes - no pen-pushers, powerpoints or bureaucrats please - we are looking predominantly for candidates with an appetite and track record for getting things done and delivering.

- Conduct relevant research into customer needs and behaviours, and benchmark solutions. Prepare, develop and communicate design pattern options.

- Review and workshop ideas with the Product and Creative Design teams.Conduct testing and testing evaluation.

- Work together with our Creative Design and Engineering teams to implement designs across all Zeller properties.

- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience directly creating impressive experiences.

- Experience in all, or most, of the following: brief creation and task assessment, UX research, ideation, design sprints/workshops, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and working with visual designers and engineers.

- A love of designing experiences from scratch or as extensions or enhancements of existing experiences.Excellent design and communication skills.

- An ongoing interest in best practices and new trends in UX.

- Real attention to detail in all aspects of your work. 

- Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the leading tools, platforms and technologies to make your job more efficient.

- You’ll thrive on educating others in the business on what you’re doing and why it’s important.

- Zeller primarily uses Figma for design.

- A tertiary education, or a track record of relevant experience that proves it wasn’t needed.

- A passion for empathising with our customers, and at the same time addressing our business challenges and goals. 

- A creative mind that can deliver and execute great ideas

- A background in financial services

- Experience with brand and visual design

- Basic skills in using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
