Your role🙋

As a Product Designer (mid-level) at Juni, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and engaging designs that align with our Product Design Principles. Your role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills to execute high-quality design solutions.

Your responsibilities💪

Within 1 month, you'll:

• Familiarize yourself with our design principles and existing design patterns.

• Build relationships with team members across Product, Engineering, and Design.

• Begin contributing to medium-sized projects, focusing on UI decision-making and visual design execution.

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Own 1-2 medium projects and contribute to larger projects.

• Collaborate with PMs and senior designers to explore and identify the best solutions for design challenges.

• Present complex problems and ideas in an accessible manner to team members unfamiliar with the project.

Within 6 months, you'll:

• Deliver polished visual designs and demonstrate understanding of interaction design and cross-platform flows.

• Actively participate in design critiques, providing and receiving feedback to improve design quality.

• Engage in recruiting activities, conducting design interviews, and providing feedback on candidates.

Your qualifications👨‍🎓

What we need to see:

• A degree in Design or a related field.

• At least 3-4 years of experience.

• Strong execution in two core design skills, such as interaction design and visual design, and capable in two others, such as user research and prototyping, demonstrating a deepening of expertise across the product design process.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions convincingly.

• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing contributions to shipped projects.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment 

What we’d love to see

• Experience in navigating ambiguity and prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Ability to develop strong working relationships and be a thought partner in design discussions.

• Familiarity with design patterns and ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.

• Familiarity with multiple research techniques to gather qualitative and quantitative data (usability testing, card sorting, A/B testing, etc)

• Familiarity with fintech, banking and/or financial services (preferably from Sweden)
