Overview:
The mission of the Product Designer is to defining our product design and refining our brand as a Series A startup in Palo Alto, California. In your day to day, will work with our product and engineering teams to identify user journeys and design complex flows. You'll continuously innovate, brainstorm, and sketch out new ideas to help us innovate for our customers.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to product growth through experimentation and optimization of existing user journeys
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop the tools and processes they need to build delightful and cohesive experience across the user journey
- Comfortably flex between working on very broadly defined concepts and narrowly defined deliverables
Competencies and Skills - you have:
- 2+ years of product design experience at a fast-growing startup
- An active portfolio demonstrating both individual and team-based work
- In-depth experience working on user interfaces across web and mobile platforms
- A proven track record of designing delightful products and experiences
- Comfort in executing with core product design skill sets: visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture
- Visual thinking skills with a strong attention to detail and a cross-functional mindset
- Impact-driven mindset and are capable of executing thoughtfully in a fast-paced environment
- A low ego, comfortable with delivering and receiving feedback, and takes pride in the success of others
- Excellent organization, prioritization, preparation and follow-through abilities
Physical Characteristics of Work Environment:
- Office-based work environment
- Typing and computer usage throughout the day
- Typical working hours Monday-Friday, with ad hoc weekend work
- Travel requirements: as requested
