We have a diverse range of experiences and expertise and love learning from each other. Our PMs thrive on solving hard problems, considering every detail, and achieving ambitious goals. We are looking for a Product Designer to join Figma Weave, this role sits at the intersection of generative AI, node-based workflow editing, and creative tools, building a platform that makes sophisticated AI generation accessible through visual workflows. You'll work directly with our founding team to drive critical initiatives - from our workflow editor, to team collaboration features, to strategic integrations with Figma. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor where you'll have outsized impact on product direction and help define how creators interact with cutting-edge generative AI.

What you’ll do at Figma Weave:

  • Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
  • Help deliver clear storytelling around customer needs and business opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and design peers
  • Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Design and ship high-quality features and product improvements
  • Be a mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to your peers (and benefit from strong personal and professional mentorship opportunities yourself!)

Some projects you could work on:

  • Weavy’s workflow editor: Plan and design building blocks and interactions of Figma Weave’s node-based editor and enable creative professionals to craft their ideal workflow.
  • Editing tools: Rethink and design the next generation of editing tools that enable professionals to control their AI-powered designs and videos.
  • Figma<>Weavy integration: Play a major part in planning and designing how Weavy integrates into Figma and how Figma can be integrated into Weavy.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a product designer.
  • 3+ years of experience working on a software product with similar scale or complexity.
  • Experience using node-based design tools or broader design/ development tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; you’re able to explain your design decisions and strategy with clear rationale and storytelling.
  • Great attention to detail, and an eye for visual craft, such as composition, typography, and layout.
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and product strategy.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Familiarity with technical things like HTML/CSS, prototyping tools such as Origami, or advanced Figma features like Auto Layout, Variables, and Components.
  • Past experience designing for developers, or partnering closely with developing on complex problems.
  • A design/development hybrid background, or experience building websites or apps.
  • A history of working on canvas-based interfaces or tools that support creative workflows.
