As part of the Data management team, you'll be working closely with other designers, product managers and development teams to understand our customer needs when it comes to their data, and then providing them with the tools to satisfy those needs. You'll be involved in early stage research and ideation, implementation, and iteration. Ultimately you'll be responsible for creating a powerful and intuitive user experience for our customers all around the world.

- This job is for someone who thinks bigger than traditional technical writing. You can explain complex features within tiny amounts of product real estate, and communicate the value in a compelling, clear, and effective way.
- We're looking for candidates who love to work with cross-functional teams to ensure they're providing a great information experience. Someone who's ready to not only own the content for their area, but also contribute to and help drive feature projects that benefit our customers here at Atlassian.
When you join the team, you'd be expected to have:
- 4+ years of professional UX / product design experience, preferably with cloud based products
- Proven ability to frame problems, excellent visual design skills, and a deep understanding of product design
- A high degree of empathy for customers, and an understanding of how to use that empathy to inform design direction
- Experience working in a fast paced, agile software development environment
- Solid execution skills, with experience in modern tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Mural, Invision, & Keynote
And ideally, we'd hope you'd have:
- The ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback
- An ability to challenge yourself and cross-product teams
- A strong growth mindset, open to change and promoting new ideas
- Bonus points if you have experience working with Enterprise grade tools, conducting user research, and managing stake holders.
