What we're looking for

We are seeking a leader for the core survey experience team, with the focus of modernizing our survey authoring experience and account management tools. A successful candidate will be an inspirational people manager, coach & mentor. You are a product thinker, a collaborative cross-functional team player, and excellent communicator, creating connective tissue between your team, your partners, and leaders in the company. You are passionate about bringing better design to the business world through personable interfaces, clear data viz, and a commitment to empathizing with our users. This role will report to the Senior Director of Product Design.

You will

• Lead, manage and mentor a growing team of 5 product designers, with practiced ability to teach core design skills, and coach on softer skills of influence, customer centricity & personal leadership.
• Shape the experience strategy for authoring and administration tools, driven by customer understanding, building on knowledge from customer research, content strategy, product management, marketing, and customer support & operations.
• Support & encourage a culture of accountability and feedback – you give it, receive it and grow from it, and encourage this practice on the team
• Focus on the customer and business problems with the biggest impact while being a tireless advocate for design craft and cohesive customer experience

You have

• Passion for solving complex Enterprise product challenges with modern, intuitive design solutions.
• Experience managing Enterprise SaaS product design efforts, both as a lead designer, and as a manager
• Have hired, mentored, and coached individual contributor designers, and led a team of at least 3 designers.
• Experience working across product design teams and within user-centered specializations including user research, content strategy and design systems.
• Practiced ability to create alignment on experience choices with peers and leaders
