Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to lead our accessibility and inclusive design initiatives. This role will help ensure that Grammarly can deliver our promise to users of all abilities and backgrounds. As part of Grammarly Design, the person in this role will have an opportunity to shape how Grammarly implements accessibility across the organization. As part of our Design System team, they will have impact across all the products and interfaces offered by Grammarly.
This role will focus on establishing our accessibility roadmap, acting as the resident expert for our Design, Product, and Engineering teams. This person will also work with the Design Manager for Design Systems and Infrastructure, as well as with other leaders, to build a team that will help deliver on our mission.
Your Impact
As Product Design Lead, Accessibility, you will spearhead the effort for the design organization to become Grammarly’s go-to authority on inclusive design and accessibility compliance. You will audit our current state across all products and interfaces, set a vision and a strategy for where we need to be, and collaborate with the Design team leadership to build and grow a team of talented designers who are passionate about accessibility and inclusivity.
