The Principal Product Marketing Manager will focus on growing the channel pipeline via content development, enablement, and marketing campaigns to ensure that the channel is a successful driver of growth for Secure Code Warrior.This role involves creating and executing marketing plans that enable channel partners to effectively market, sell, and support the products.

The Principal Product Marketing Manager will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and channel partners, to ensure alignment and success.This individual will be required to understand the product and communicate the value of our platform, extensibility, and integrations to the market.

What You Will Do

  • Partner Enablement: Develop the content and manage partner enablement programs to ensure channel partners have the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively market and sell the company's products.This role will partner with our internal enablement team for best-in-class processes and consistency.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand the partner ecosystem landscape and collaborate with the channel team on opportunities to grow targeted partners.
  • Product Positioning: Develop and articulate clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with partners and end customers.
  • Sales Collateral: Create and distribute sales collateral, presentations, and other materials that help partners effectively communicate the value of the products to potential customers.
  • Training and Certification: Establish training and certification programs to ensure partners are knowledgeable and skilled in selling and supporting the products. Track partner performance and offer ongoing training as necessary.
  • Joint Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with channel partners to design and execute joint marketing campaigns, events, and promotions that drive demand and increase brand visibility.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates, ensuring partner alignment and participation.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key channel partners, including managing partner agreements, incentives, and co-op funds.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance metrics related to partner engagement, sales performance, and ROI on marketing efforts.
  • Feedback Loop: Create mechanisms for partners to provide feedback on product features, marketing materials, and support. Use this feedback to improve product marketing strategies.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product marketing with a focus on channel and partner enablement.
  • Strong understanding of the technology or industry in which the company operates.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in product marketing, including at least two to three years in channel and partner-focused roles.
  • Experience with partner relationship management and development is a significant advantage.
