Principal Product Designer - Financial Services

The Principal Product Designer  is responsible Partnering closely with Design and Product Leaders to set the design vision and direction for a  portfolio or initiative, raise the visual and interaction design quality and  get teams working in a way  that makes great products. 

We’re building a platform for small businesses to better understand and manage their money. One of the key strategic opportunities for Xero is the growth of our Financial Services business. You’ll be integral in helping strategically design and shape world-class Financial Services experiences for our Small Business customers around the world. From vision to reality, you’ll bring new creative solutions into the financial space through design thinking practices, deep customer understanding and connected thinking across our platform. This is a strategic design role to help deliver end-to-end user experiences and visions that optimise user needs, technical realities and business goals, to drive the best outcomes for all stakeholders. You’ll be a critical member of the Financial Services team, helping to lead and facilitate groups across the entire organisation to develop product experiences that raise the bar and solve cash flow challenges for our Small Business customers. 

Work with GM Design, Product Design Directors in your portfolio and other Product Design Principal’s  across portfolios to continually evolve and grow our design practice, processes, and capabilities to  support the delivery of  world-class product design solutions.
