About the role

We’re looking for empathetic, fast learners that will quickly understand our customers and translate that understanding into engaging and inspiring creative, showcasing our beautiful Apple award winning product.

You will have the creativity to imagine and bring to life the touch points that speak uniquely to our growing community. The work you do will have an impact on the overall visual identity and voice of the company, communicating a myriad of different use cases for Craft while uniting us under a single vision language.

You will be super hands-on, tackling everything from the website landing pages for new features to templates and social media.

You will report directly to the VP of Marketing, you’ll be the first designer for the marketing team which creates a lot of opportunities to have an impact on Craft’s marketing design.

What you'll do

  • Lead and craft every detail of branded projects, from initial idea through delivery.
  • Get to know our community and customers to help create experiences that will deepen their engagement with Craft.
  • Devise new ways to introduce people to Craft and bring them into what our brand stands for, what they can expect from the product experience, and what it can mean for them.
  • Create systems and standards for the team to access and self-serve the materials they need to tell compelling stories and relay the brand in their everyday work.
  • Monitor performance and analyze data to inform creative decision-making and elaborate performance
  • Help maintain an organized library of assets for internal and external partners
  • Generate ideas, inspire your teammates, give and receive feedback, and critique respectfully

What we're looking for

  • You are experienced in graphic / digital design, creating assets for print and digital work
  • You have strong skills in typography, colour use, and layout with the ability to deliver high-quality design work and applying a brand across a range of deliverables
  • You will have experience working with design packages such as Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma or Sketch
  • You have experience creating successful, concept-led campaigns across print and digital, and balancing constraints for different marketing channels
  • You have an ability to design and iterate quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a strong portfolio that reflects a foundation of design principles, awareness of current trends and how they translate to digital medium

Bonus points

  • You’ve been exposed to video and animation creation, including motion content like animated GIFs and simple motion content
  • You have knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • You have strong multi-project management skills, keeping track of resources, timeline, and budget
  • You have experience working in distributed teams
