Company Description

Since we first opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely – and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take a payment and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, run a busy kitchen, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. And across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow all in one place.

Today, we’re a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex commerce operations, sellers just starting out, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers scale, so do our solutions. We all grow together.

There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a business that is big, meaningful, and lasting. And we are helping sellers around the world do the same.

Job Description

You Will:

  • Lead the execution of experiments that achieve growth for our business, partnering with engineering, data, and design teams to implement iterative tests across the web, mobile, and in-product platforms.
  • Drive the creation of email, in-product, and web campaigns, including constructing audiences, tracking, and reporting using an array of marketing platforms and reporting tools.
  • Deliver end-to-end project management for message creation and support management of campaigns and timelines throughout all the steps, including final handoffs
  • Evaluate, hypothesize, build, analyze, and learn to utilize insights to inform product decisions and direction.
  • Ideate full-funnel campaigns across onboarding, engagement, active use, and resurrection to drive forward upsell SaaS growth goals and objectives.
  • Generate data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, design and execute A/B tests, and apply knowledge of basic statistics (e.g. sample size, significance) to separate signal from noise.
  • Analyze findings, report on KPIs, and present recommendations to executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of marketing growth experience or related field with a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning most organizational levels
  • Demonstrated track record executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Ability to develop empathy for customers learning how to use SaaS products for the first time
  • High competence in HTML and CSS
  • Strong proficiency with excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) or Google Sheets and writing SQL queries -- you can pull your own data to answer your questions
