Webflow is the modern way to create for the web. We envision a world where more people can leverage the power and flexibility of code — without writing any — to bring the most impactful websites, stores, and applications they can imagine to reality.
We are looking for a Lead product manager to focus on our core product’s site capabilities - answering the question of how Webflow can add more valuable capabilities to enable customers to build and grow their businesses, starting with ecommerce.
You will take ownership of our current Memberships beta product ( #1 on our customer wishlist), bring it to market, and drive the overarching strategy and execution of our broader ecommerce vision for our existing Webflow Ecommerce product. This role will be a mix of day 1 execution and long term business strategy for one of Webflow’s biggest market opportunities, and you will partner closely with our product, design, engineering, and business teams to drive increased adoption and enable more people to build commerce software - without code.
About the role
- Location: US Western Hemisphere Remote
- Full-time
As a Lead Product Manager for Site Capabilities, you’ll …
- Lead definition and execution on the near term roadmap for our Memberships product, taking it from an active beta to launch.
- Drive research and definition of the Webflow ecommerce strategy - identifying and evangelizing a roadmap that drives company-level outcomes and unlocks new commerce customer segments.
- Work with the Engineering, Product, Design department leads to define overarching strategy for Webflow site capabilities, driving alignment, and organizational execution.
- Collaborate with ecosystem teams to identify and prioritize mission-critical integration partners that complement and accelerate adoption of Webflow’s native commerce products.
- Partner with product and growth teams to define and implement pricing, packaging, and payments strategies for sustained business growth.
- Identify and drive new potential opportunities in commerce payments.
- Motivate your team to do the best work of their careers
About you
You’ll thrive as a Lead Product Manager for Site Capabilities if you:
- Have 7+ years experience in a Product Manager role
- Have a strong understanding of the technical architecture of B2C commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of the online payments stack
- Are comfortable and confident in deep discussions with engineers about technical issues or challenges, and potential approaches or solutions
- Deep understanding of the customer needs for building and running a physical goods store, gated content business, or services businesses.
- Familiar with the needs of service providers serving the ecommerce market
- Comfortable partnering and scalably communicating with stakeholders across different departments (e.g. finance, business operations, security, product, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure our ecommerce strategy + roadmap are understood and coordinated in execution.
- Are a clear communicator of strategic and technical decisions and the rationale behind them
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit — you proactively identify the most important problems to tackle and creatively solve them
If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, you should still seriously consider applying. Studies show that meeting just 50% of a role’s requirements puts you in the running.
