At SeatGeek we look to open ticketing with innovative technology, thoughtful interfaces, and an above-all-else focus on our users. SeatGeek is a product-centric organization that prides itself on beating industry competitors through a superior user experience. Our product culture is defined by our high quality bar, a “ship early and often” mindset, and a transparent and autonomous environment.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead our existing Payments team and define how we will leverage Payments to advance our business goals.  The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex problems, growing people in addition to product, and keeping things fun along the way.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with engineering to develop a shared (product and tech) vision and strategy for Payments at SeatGeek, unifying disparate payment product team strategies in support of the company’s long-term goals

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across client-facing, customer-facing, and finance teams, developing a firm understanding of their needs, dependencies, and priorities
  • Be a trusted PM for the existing Payments team, diving into in-progress initiatives, making decisions as needed and supporting delivery
  • Drive cross-team initiatives involving the range of vendors who power our Payments stack
  • Partner with research, design, and engineering to investigate problem and opportunity spaces and craft elegant and feasible solutions
  • Make product decisions backed by quantitative and qualitative data, mixed with an innate sense for what will move the needle for SeatGeek
  • Advocate for and act as a Payments ambassador to the rest of the company, communicating work and celebrating wins

What you have

  • 6-8 years of product experience with progressive levels of responsibility, and at least 3 of those years being in the Payments space
  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) skills and ability to build genuine, collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the org
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and cross-functional initiatives including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Proven ability of influencing others through both direct and indirect authority and leadership
  • Strong decision making skills with a balanced view of data, domain expertise, and gut instinct

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Flexible PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Annual subscriptions to Headspace, Ginger.io, and One Medical
  • $120 a month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$220,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
