Hi there!

Zapier’s mission is to make automation work for everyone. Zapier channel partners are critical to this effort: they extend our marketing, sales, and customer success reach, and they complement our product offerings with services that help customers automate their teams’ entire workflows on Zapier. We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager, Channel Partnerships to define & deliver a best-in-class experience for these Zapier Channel Partners.

Get to know the hiring manager

In this role, you’ll be responsible for product solutions that power multiple stages of the partner lifecycle, including onboarding, enablement, billing, reporting, and support. You’ll work with the Channel Partnerships go-to-market team to ensure the built experience reflects the ethos and benefits of the program. With your cross-functional team, you’ll drive significant new revenue growth for Zapier.

About You:

  • You’re an experienced SaaS Product Manager. You’ve been a Senior or Lead-level Product Manager before in a SaaS / B2B setting. Prior channel or partner ecosystem experience is helpful, but not required. You know how to collaborate with your cross-functional peers to define effective product strategy, and you have a strong track record of execution.

  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity. As Zapier develops its channel partnerships, you’ll be the first to encounter many new problem types. Where others get stalled in uncertainty, you find a structured and logical path forward. You’re capable of prioritizing and making decisions that lead to progress.

  • You’re self-directed and collaborative. In this role, you’ll plan and prioritize with other product teams and with key peers in go-to-market functions. You build buy-in constructively and with shared goals in mind. When conditions change, you adapt to keep delivering.

  • You’re motivated by results. At Zapier, we value outcomes over outputs. You’re capable of aligning success metrics to company goals, and you lead the way in monitoring those metrics, extracting and sharing insights, and evolving our approach to increase business impact. In your mind, you don’t “just” own the product - you own success for your customers.

Things You’ll Do:

  • Define & deliver a best-in-class experience for Zapier Channel Partners, to grow the business globally.

  • Work closely with these channel partners to deeply understand their needs as a customer, and reflect those needs in your prioritization decisions.

  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to define core workstreams, build complementary commercial & product models, and set up channel partners for success.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Research, Data, and other Product Managers to form clear solutions and deliver on them.

  • Provide consistent, transparent communication on priorities, development status, and results, often in direct discussion with Zapier executives.

  • Define leading & trailing success metrics for your products, and evolve your strategy / roadmap accordingly, to stay accountable for outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to position channel partners in other parts of the product where it can enhance the customer experience.

  • Role-model Zapier’s values as an example for junior PMs to follow.

How to Apply

At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of education or companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.

After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!

Zapier is an equal-opportunity employer and we're excited to work with talented and empathetic people of all identities. Zapier does not discriminate based on someone's identity in any aspect of hiring or employment as required by law and in line with our commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity. Our code of conduct provides a beacon for the kind of company we strive to be, and we celebrate our differences because those differences are what allow us to make a product that serves a global user base. Zapier will consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, consistent with applicable laws.

Zapier is committed to inclusion. As part of this commitment, Zapier welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities and will work to provide reasonable accommodations. If reasonable accommodations are needed to participate in the job application or interview process, please contact [email protected]

Application Deadline:

The anticipated application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later, or if the position is filled.

Even though we’re an all-remote company, we still need to be thoughtful about where we have Zapiens working. Check out this resource for a list of countries where we currently cannot have Zapiens permanently working.
