We are looking for a senior leader to lead our Affirm Card BNPL pod. The Affirm Card is a first of its kind financial product that enables a user to pay for purchases in full while giving the flexibility to access Affirm's purchasing power and split purchases up into installments. The Affirm Card offers consumers a smart way to choose how to pay for any individual transaction with the trust, transparency, and no 'gotchas' that define Affirm's products. We expect increased frequency of consumer engagement with the Affirm Card that will ultimately drive more value to our merchant partners too, further strengthening our consumer and merchant relationships.
As Lead Product Manager of the BNPL pod, you will be responsible for developing a product vision and strategy for this area, working closely with the Affirm Card PM team, and delivering delightful experiences to our consumers globally.
What You'll Do
- Build a deep understanding of our consumers, merchants, and partners – their global needs, the jobs-to-be-done, why they love Affirm, and what they wish could be better
- Create a long-term vision and strategy for the BNPL pod based on consumer needs and Affirm’s strengths. Key initiatives include:
- Influence the organization on the overall product strategy
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, and commercial teams to build a compelling product roadmap
- Partner with engineering and design leadership to develop the operating structure and process to deliver on business goals
What We Look For
- 7+ years of product management experience and having directly led teams
- Track record of successfully launching and growing consumer products at scale demonstrating end-to-end product development experience
- Proven ability to scale and foster a high-performing product management team
- Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization
- Strong analytical rigor, innovative mindset, obsession over product excellence, and an ability to move fast
- Experience building a scaled consumer finance product
- Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
USA Pacific base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $190,000 - $284,900
USA Sapphire base pay range (all other U.S. states): $171,000 - $256,500
