We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to help us build for the financial back office for therapists. This role will lead product design at Heard.
Position Type: Full-Time

Heard offers therapists bookkeeping, accounting, taxes, and payroll all in one easy-to-use platform.

? About You
- You are able to work across the 'stack' — conducting user interviews, building complex UI/UX flows, and iterating on existing features
- You advocate for and care deeply about our customers, and translate that empathy into the work you're doing
- You have experience creating and shipping complex products, validated by data and user testing
- You've lead design teams in the past, and have experience in building and creating design systems
- You have 5+ years of in-house product design experience, preferably in the fintech or healthcare field
- You're a great communicator and collaborator. You're comfortable with regularly providing feedback, and open to receiving feedback.
- You love working with a small (yet mighty) team!
- If you've built products in the fintech industry, or worked on products that have handled financial information before, that's a huge plus!
? About the Role
- You'll be joining as our first designer, working with our CTO Victoria to create and improve upon the Heard experience
- You'll be working in a highly product-oriented team, creating and growing the design team at Heard
- You'll be creating foundational design systems for the Heard Product
- You'll help create and build the design process and design team at Heard
- You'll contribute to product strategy, alongside the CTO and CEO
- If you're not interested in IC work — this role is not for you
- You will have signifiant impact on the product and the company, and help us scale to thousands and tens of thousands of therapists
- You'll grow with the company — whether as a product leader, a design manager, or an individual contributor, we'll invest in you
