Lead Product Designer

About the role

We're looking to hire a Lead Product Designer at Arist!

If that's you, you'll get the chance to help define the future of delivering learning to employees worldwide. You will get to define how leaders create, delivery, and analyze message-based learning and ultimately help solve the core challenges that learning teams at the world’s largest organizations face.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for designing our core product — from major features to improvements that relieve user pain.

Put simply, your job is to ensure our powerful learning solution is designed to be used as effectively as possible.

A few things you'll spend your time working on:

• Create the UX/UI designs and mockups for all product development work
• Audit the user flows between pages in our product and lead end-to-end redesign sprints to improve UX/UI
• Taking our proven learning methodology and seamlessly embedding it into our product
• Figure out ways to effectively showcase continuous learning outcomes in our Analytics Dashboard (something no learning solution has yet figured out, but we have a good shot at!)
• Work closely with the product, learning, and customer team to launch features that are well designed to improve learning outcomes

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Product Designer who enjoys leading the entire end-to-end design process and is primarily a UX expert.

Our ideal designer is well-versed in the user-centered design process, uses it to solve complex problems, and is eager to learn from others — with the ability to work fast, wear multiple hats, engage with customers & conduct user research.

Ideally someone who has:

• 5+ years of proven UX / UI Design experience designing responsive web applications
• Strong talent for creating simple designs (from both a UI and UX perspective) that solve user challenges in simple way
• Ability to build and execute design research methodologies and user testing protocols in a rapid development environment
• Experience plotting and mapping a user journey from product discovery through engagement
• Mastery of Figma
• 3-4+ years in a startup environment
