Your role at Culture Amp

Join us as the Product Design Lead for our 1-on-1 product in the Amplify camp. Amplify camp's mission is to help our customers make the day-to-day work add up to stronger relationships, growth and impact. Working within our Amplify Camp, you will work on our 1-on-1 conversation tool to connect people and managers with real, authentic conversations to level-up the employee experience.

This means you’ll have a unique opportunity to impact how every employee experiences the Culture Amp magic.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with top notch Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and People Scientists
  • Work through complex problems and create simple and elegant solutions
  • Evolve our shared vision for the 1-on-1 experience and how it supports the impact we want to create as a company
  • Ensure that valuable experiences are being shipped regularly, meeting the quality standard and are progressing us towards our Product vision
  • Help other members of the camp think about discovery and learn Human Centred Design methods
  • Drive qualitative and quantitative research to gain a deeper understanding of user needs and problems
  • Create user-flows, prototypes and UI designs that help solve those problems
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate quickly towards designs that meet our users’ needs

What You Bring to Culture Amp

  • 5+ years working as a full-time product, UX or interaction designer (or similar role)
  • Experience working collaboratively with PMs and engineers to deliver end-to-end product design, from ideation to production
  • Comfortable articulating the ‘why’, and leading discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions

To be considered for this role, a solid portfolio of design work is required to be submitted via our application form. Your portfolio gives you a chance to showcase the best of what you can do, so make the most of the opportunity to impress. Tell us a story. Walk us through the life of several projects from start to finish, outlining your role, the problems you were asked to solve, how you went about solving them and the outcomes you delivered (preferably with data). Help us get into your brain.

If you want to see some examples of well thought out portfolios, mosey on down to the case studies of Simon Pan - (Google, Uber, Medium) and Alan Shen (TBWA\Chiat\Day).

But that’s not all!

  • Flexible working hour, make your work schedule work for you
  • 14 weeks parental leave at full pay for primary carers and 4 weeks for secondary carers
  • MacBooks for all
  • Shares - it’s important to us that everyone is an owner and can share in our success.
  • Fun and inclusive digital, and (in the future) in-person events

Most importantly. An opportunity to really make a difference in people’s lives.
