Hopper is looking for a hotel product operations manager who will be responsible for third-party connectivity and optimization. In this role, you will work with various OTAs, wholesalers, and bed banks in APAC, as well as other departments within Hopper. You will use your technical knowledge and problem-solving expertise to effectively resolve any connection issues while seeking to create and implement new processes and procedures within the Hopper accommodation business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business leader and product manager to provide insights on supplier and property acquisitions
- Define the operational structure and processes to execute and align with business strategy
- Own the operational matters related to onboarding, content optimization, data analysis and insights, and testing
- Liaise with supply partners to conduct regular business reviews and drive new projects by influencing the product roadmap
- Design and implement reports, dashboards, and interactive tools to track key business metrics
- Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers as well as the supply team to find effective ways to simplify and communicate analysis to a non-technical audience
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with SQL proficiency
- Ability to translate insights from data analysis to actionable initiatives for the team to execute
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical work to a non-technical audience
- Enthusiasm and curiosity for user experience and conducting research to answer hard questions with data
- Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, can handle ambiguity, and the challenge of fast-evolving goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product or operational roles, ideally in Product Operations / Business Intelligence functions
- Experience in the OTA market and understanding of the key dynamics behind it (availability, pricing, connectivity, etc)
- Experience working with large-scale products and users
- Experience with Amplitude, Google BigQuery, and Salesforce
