Meet Your Future Neighbors

As the Head of Product Marketing Management for our B2B solutions you will take an active hand in shaping the products that will help drive a critical part of our business, public agency,  and advertiser value creation efforts. You will lead a team of PMMs focused on advertisers and public agencies. You will also be responsible for our B2B website/content marketing/SEO. You will lead and build these critical roles. You will take an active hand in shaping the products that will make Nextdoor a must-buy local ads platform.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of product marketers 
  • Cultivate talent among and contribute to the professional growth of a team of product marketers and B2B marketing professionals
  • Partner closely with product management and business leaders to shape the monetization and organic value product roadmap
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pulse on advertising ecosystem dynamics and ensure knowledge is shared across partner teams 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pulse on social media and utility focused platforms and trends, ensure knowledge is shared across partners 
  • Develop deep market, customer & neighbor insight to inform the product roadmap and business & marketing strategies
  • Develop a high-performing B2B marketing website and ensure we get the right messaging out to key audiences and meet outcome KPIs
  • Drive successful cross-functional alignment on go-to-market planning and strategies with tracking against success metrics to accelerate business goals
  • Partner with Communications, Brand,  Sales Marketing, Growth Marketing and Revenue Leaders to develop and drive go-to-market, content marketing, demand generation strategies through various channels
  • Act as a team player who can successfully work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, both within Nextdoor and across partner organizations, with minimal guidance
  • Evangelize for Nextdoor’s point of view on the market, generate ideas that move the discourse around local marketing
  • Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Nextdoor’s solutions for neighbors, public agencies, and advertisers  
  • Continuously assess the capabilities and value proposition of our  products via market trends, customer feedback and competitive benchmarking in order to influence our monetization and neighbor growth strategy

What You’ll Bring To The Team

    • Minimum of 12 years working experience, 7 years of management experience,  and 5 years experience in a product marketing capacity
    • Proven track record of strong leadership and management skills 
    • Demonstrated excellence in building high performing product marketing teams 
    • Fluency in the ads industry trends and products
    • Proven experience in focusing on both consumers and businesses 
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Analytic skills and a passion for developing, tracking, and analyzing KPIs 
    • Ability to deliver succinct, impactful messaging 
    • Well organized and detail-oriented
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Passion for building community 
    • Unquestioned integrity, impeccable judgment, and the ability to think critically
    • A collaborative, thoughtful, strategic, and operational/tactical leader, who is comfortable with open communication and giving/receiving constructive feedback respectfully

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $210,000 to $325,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
