I am looking for a Head of Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for leading the product marketing team to drive the successful launch and growth of our expanding suite of products.

You will use your deep insights on the customer, the competitive landscape and the key market trends to develop our core messaging and help positioning Customer.io as a market leader in the Customer Engagement Platform category. You will collaborate closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position our products as the best solutions in the market.

As the Head of Product Marketing at Customer.io, you will...

Some things you'll do

  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audiences
  • Create and execute product marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Partner with product management to influence product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on market needs and customer feedback
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target customers, their needs, pain points, and motivations to inform audience and persona frameworks and support content strategy, demand and conversion programs
  • Build and manage a robust competitive intelligence program to track and analyze the market landscape
  • Develop and execute product launch plans, including defining target segments, value propositions, pricing, and marketing campaigns
  • Create and maintain product collateral, including product data sheets, solution briefs, and case studies
  • Collaborate closely with the demand generation team to ensure a consistent message across all marketing channels, including website, email, social media, and other paid marketing efforts

About You

  • 7-10+ years of experience B2B software product marketing and customer marketing experience, with a proven track record of launching and growing successful SaaS products
  • 3+ years of experience working in fast-growing start-up environments where a growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement are valued
  • 2+ years of leading remote teams across multiple time-zones

About Customer.io

Our mission at Customer.io is to power automated communication that people like to receive. Today over 4,300 internet businesses use Customer.io to manage, send, and track the performance of emails, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages. Unlike typical marketing platforms, Customer.io helps businesses increase relevance by using behavioral data: what people do or don’t do when logged in to a web or mobile app.

We are offering a starting salary of $225,000 USD depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
