About the role:

We are looking for a Head of Product, Growth Engineering that will lead several cross-functional agile teams which are responsible for enabling value creation. DataCamp caters for individual learners and organizations that want to become (more) data fluent. Both groups have their own needs and desires which is what drives the Growth Engineering’s mission. Growth Engineering aims to enable high-level growth on the B2B and B2C sides of the organization. We do this by showing meaningful information to the user, in the right way, in the right place, and at the right time and by supporting the go-to-market motion of new DataCamp initiatives. Covering the entire flow from top-of-funnel to the payment checkout flows .

We are open to remote candidates within comparable timezones.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the vision and strategy of commercial growth engineering in coordination with the B2C and B2B Commercial Stakeholders aligned with the company’s goals and mission.
  • Manage and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams of skilled product managers, engineering managers and their teams to drive growth for the business while obsessing over the user journey and experience ensuring successful launches of new initiatives.
  • Determine and follow-through on your team's metrics for success while cultivating collaboration and alignment.
  • Mentor and coach the product and engineering managers, helping them to develop as leaders.
  • Manage conflicting constraints while making rapid decisions
  • Evaluate resourcing needs and collaborate with the relevant hiring teams 

Our ideal candidate

  • Has 10+ years of Product management experience 
  • Has 7+ years of experience in managing agile teams, at least 3 of which should include managing managers.
  • Has lead teams in the context of Growth Engineering
  • Driven, with a strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Is very comfortable dealing with ambiguity, comfortable making decisions and wearing multiple hats.
  • A fluent and proactive communicator across various mediums.
  • A passionate technologist looking to make a meaningfully positive impact on a large enterprise
  • Is organized, analytical and outcome-oriented
  • Has an interest in data science and online education
