Our Mission

Ben is Europe’s leading SaaS platform that brings choice and flexibility to employee benefits, helping employers eliminate complexity and waste. We take a holistic approach, offering both core benefits such as pension, health, and life insurance as well as newer flexible lifestyle benefits such as well-being or work from home allowances, all through a single and easy to use platform.

The secret to our Product? We combine software and payments. Ben is able to handle a company’s budget and define spend control, facilitate payments to suppliers, and we can even issue Mastercards to employees so they can go out and spend on what matters to them. Employees get to choose what matters to them, HR get to focus on what’s most important while Ben does the heavy lifting.

Our product is rapidly changing how hundreds of companies all over the world deliver benefits to their people and make them work for everyone everywhere. On the back of our recent $16m Series A led by Atomico alongside some of the best minds in Tech and HR we’re doubling down on growth and growing our team. With a team of just under 50 across London and Berlin we’re now looking for an experienced Head of Product to join us and work directly with the Founders to help turn our ambitious product vision a reality!

Your Mission

Bring our Product Vision to Life: Work with the Founders to translate our vision for how any company should deliver benefits that work to everyone, everywhere into a clear and actionable roadmap that shows us the way

“Be” Product across Ben: Rally the company around where the product is going and work with our other teams to both keep a finger on the pulse of the wider business to generate insights as well as to ensure nobody loses touch with how Ben works

Push the envelope: With your team and others across the business, be instrumental in solving the complex problems we’ve set out to tackle on our path to disrupt the benefits industry

Lead & Inspire: Recruit an amazing team of product superstars and foster a high performance culture that gives them a shot to do their best work yet at Ben

Scale: Continuously monitor and evolve our approach and processes to support Ben’s ambitious growth over the coming years, trying to be a step ahead all of the way

Who we're looking for

• Strong track record of scaling world-class products; particularly in a B2B SaaS environment

• Demonstrable history of recruiting and managing growing high-performance Product teams

• Proven examples of inspirational Product leadership across organisations with effective teaming that delivered exceptional outcomes

• Hypothesis- and data-driven approach to Product with a strong nose for business value

• First-hand knowledge and experience of day to day Product management alongside a strong agile software development team

• A passionate builder who is genuinely excited by the prospect of combining payments, software and data into a disruptive product

• Thrives on autonomy and very comfortable with the fast-paced nature and ambiguity of an early stage company

💰 Competitive base salary + equity, so you own what you build

💳 £100 monthly personal Ben Balance: for whatever works for you, whether that's Netflix, Spotify, or a really expensive cup of coffee! This allowance will increase by £50 for each year of service until you reach £250
