We are seeking a Head of Design who will gather and lead our Product Design team on the mission to democratise access to financial instruments. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hands-on and precise, with a creative and resourceful mind, bright, proactive, able to work well independently and as part of a team.

You will be expected to:

Grow, mentor and lead the Product Design team
Drive quality and consistency of individual product UI & UX
Able to operate across multiple distinct products
Establish and endorse user-centered designed process
Eagerness to not only drive excellence within the team, but also get hands on and demonstrate it first hand when needed
Advocate for the role of user experience, design, and research in making more data-driven decisions
A fundamental understanding of user behaviour and ability to translate complex products into simple, user-focused flows
Support the continual optimization of product development.

Create and maintain a best-in-class, frictionless, and consistent user experience in each product
Foster a talented team that thinks beyond the task at hand and can place themselves in the shoes of our customers.

You are a perfect match for us, if you have:

Ideally 10 years in product design in both mobile applications and websites
Experienced line manager and track record of making those around you better
Full comfort with product data and an ability to generate practical designs that address user challenges
Experience designing new products from the ground up
Experience in FinTech, Trading or Blockchain essentials would be an advantage
Ability to get the most out of cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation
Experience managing high performing teams across a variety of physical locations, experience levels, and cultural backgrounds.
