Freelance Product Designer - Omada (Remote)

Omada offers a social gaming experience based on sports betting, allowing fans to play every day on matches without taking any financial risks. With Omada, we set out to create the future of sports fan experience. One that is fun, safe for all ages and shared by a community of passionate like-minded people. Omada has scaled from 10k daily active users in November 2021 to 500k+ now. 

On Omada, Product Design is where all the magic happens when it comes to translate unique concepts to life pushing the boundaries of how Omada looks and feels to users, offering a passionate and immersive experience to users.

Product designers bring a passion for product design thinking and execute on a variety of project types. They translate the product experience through UX, UI design and prototyping for motion and interaction.

This is a full-time remote role that offers the flexibility and can be held from anywhere (preferably on a European Time Zone).

•Idealise an innovative future for Omada, working on new features that attract new users to an immersive experience.

•Translate the design of Production Hi-Fidelity: the nitty-gritty detailed layout and interface design of the product flows.

•Work closely with the Lead Visual Designers to translate the most important and challenging parts of the solution.

•Collaborate directly with Design Leads and stakeholders, presenting your thinking and work effectively in internal meetings and presentations.

•Work hand-in-hand with engineers and product team members to foster innovation and ensure feasibility and fidelity of implementation.

• A Product designer with a considerable experience in gaming at a digital agency or in-house.

• A portfolio that reflects your strengths in exemplary interface design and art direction, but also strong in UX thinking.

• Demonstrated understanding of UI/UX principles, best practices, and common design tools (read: Figma). Bonus points for interaction design skills (think Spline, Principle, or Framer, Origami).

• Able to clearly communicate compelling design rationales.

• Driven to stay ahead of mobile best practices, developments and trends in mobile and iOS design.

• Bonus points if you also have specialized skills in creating key visual assists such as: illustration, 3D models, photography, custom type, etc.
