The Role
- So, what will you actually be doing? Your mission is to be the voice of MOO across our digital storefront.
- You will be responsible for crafting high-converting, user-centric copy that guides customers through the funnel - from the first click on a search engine to the final "Confirm Order" button.
- You’ll bridge the gap between our brand's playful personality and the functional requirements of SEO and UX, ensuring our site is both a joy to read and a breeze to navigate.
About You
- We’re looking for a wordsmith who can think like a strategist.
- You should be someone who obsesses over the "why" behind a headline and understands that sometimes, a single word change can transform a conversion rate.
- You have a passion for UX writing principles and a solid grasp of how SEO impacts the bottom line.
- A creative problem-solver who enjoys the challenge of writing for both humans and algorithms.
- A digital-first writer who understands how people read and interact with content on screens.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating changes across multiple teams, with the ability to educate on recommendations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- You will be the lead for all on-site copy, working hand-in-hand with our commercial and technical teams to optimise the customer journey.
- You’ll translate complex product features into compelling benefits while keeping technical SEO requirements front and centre.
- Write and optimise high-quality copy for product pages, landing pages, and category headers that aligns with MOO’s brand voice. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive microcopy (buttons, tooltips, and checkout flows) that reduces friction and improves the user experience.
- Execute SEO strategies utilising keyword research, integrating terms naturally into metadata and on-page content to drive organic traffic.
- Support Technical Ecommerce by auditing site content for clarity and accuracy, ensuring a consistent experience across all regions.
- Partner with Commercial teams to craft persuasive copy for seasonal campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
- Iterate and test copy variants based on data from A/B tests and user feedback to constantly improve site performance.
