Position Summary

The Product Led Growth team at Workato is focused on building an industry-leading trial, buy, and engagement experience for our customers across all our products and market segments.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, makes data-driven decisions, obsesses about the customer, forms strong yet loosely held opinions, and can build trust with all areas of the business. We value passionate product leadership that drives with discipline and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Director / Senior Product Manager for Usage and Expansion. This is a remote role, and candidates based anywhere in USA, Russia, Portugal, Barcelona or Singapore are welcome to apply! I, you will be responsible to:

  • Lead our product growth initiatives

  • Establish a vision and strategy around solving complex subscription data and product usage insights to achieve both business and customer-facing objectives

  • Deliver customer-centric data needs to support internal teams, specifically customer success, sales and product teams 

  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of other internal teams and customers.Bring the customer's voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans.

  • Create experiences that empowers customers with full transparency on usage related to their subscription plans, and usage of product

  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering, design,  customer success, product leadership, analytics and business insight teams on objectives and business requirements

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, personas, and advocate relentlessly for the best product user experience on their behalf through market research, experimentation, user testing, and data analysis

  • Identify key drivers of engagement to increase usage growth, expansion, and retention and drive execution through iterative testing and learning

  • Ship minimum-loveable-products that allow us to test our hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience

  • Partner with analysts to dig into large data sets across the customer life cycle to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to grow the business

  • Own product roadmap around, Pendo or comparable in-product analytics/tours  to improve feature adoption and visibility of usage

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in product management within a high-paced, agile environment

  • Experience with SaaS products, subscription and usage-based growth business models

  • Prior experience as a customer lifecycle marketer, growth product manager.

  • Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B/n tests

  • Experience in working with engineering and product teams to build marketing analytics programs. 

  • Proficient in reporting, e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo, etc., to improve conversion funnel management. A/B testing knowledge is a plus!

  • Experience working with other departments including designers and other marketers to produce excellent content.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Good understanding of customer lifecycle and ability to build creative user experience

  • Strong analytical skills. You understand cohort analysis, segmentation and know how to derive insights from large amounts of data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to present and defend your ideas to executives and key stakeholders

  • You are fascinated with understanding how people behave in product experiences. When customers use a product in unexpected ways, you dig in, talk to users, and uncover how these learnings can improve marketing messaging across websites, emails, and other comms.

  • Advanced analytics skills and can self-serve on the data side due to your knowledge of reporting tools, SQL, Excel, etc.
