Director, Product Marketing - North America

We are looking to hire a Director of Product Marketing to drive efforts on specializing Zapier’s go-to-market motion across new customer segments. As we accelerate our growth with larger accounts and across new verticals, we are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to deeply understand these customers and translate the value of our product to their specific needs. You will lead a team of product marketers to develop effective market strategy, craft compelling positioning and messaging, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

Things You’ll Do

  • Define buyers and their stakeholders within core audiences, articulating their needs and pain points and the top use cases that can deliver the most customer value

  • Develop compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging across all channels

  • Oversee the strategy, planning and execution of go-to-market plans, including product and feature launches, and campaign strategy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design & Insights, Partnerships, Sales, and Marketing teams

  • Lead, mentor and coach a team of product marketers; build a thriving team culture

  • Analyze performance metrics across the customer journey to determine where to focus our GTM strategy optimizations and marketing roadmap

  • Support the development of the annual product marketing plan, long term PMM strategies, programs, budgeting and hiring

About You

You’re experienced. You have at least 10 years of total marketing experience with a proven track record in product marketing, most recently in B2B SaaS. You’ve had clear success developing and owning the go-to-market strategy to launch and scale products and features. You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable reviewing and analyzing data to glean insights and direction.

You’re a go-to-market pro. You craft value propositions and messaging that resonate with your target audience. You’re skilled at drafting product launch plans and working across multiple teams to bring products to market with measurable impact to customer awareness and adoption.

You are a people leader. You enjoy and have a passion for managing and mentoring others. You have experience hiring, developing and leading teams of varying experience levels. You thrive at working with and influencing cross-functional peers and leaders.

You are customer obsessed. You know your current and future customers better than anyone. You are comfortable with handling and analyzing data on a day-to-day basis. You regularly conduct and consume research to understand how Zapier can better meet customer and partner needs, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations for your stakeholders.

You’re a highly effective communicator. Your voice is clear and persuasive regardless of the audience, channel, or format. You’re equally comfortable drafting executive briefings, developing pitch decks, crafting external product messaging for our customers, and everything in between.
